Simple & Unique.

I am a Dutch potter based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Late starter, but fully captivated by the ceramics profession. Self taught, although over the years I did have some help of befriended potters. All my work is created in the studio in my backyard. I create tableware and decorative items that stand out. Before getting into ceramics I was a studio photographer.

My pieces are handmade and therefore unique. I keep the shapes minimalistic and simple, and try to display the beauty of the natural clay. Glazes range from crystal white to deep blue, but all with subtle details. I love the interplay between the clay and different glazes. I continue to experiment with different combinations.
